wake very early, the day is not lifted and direction from Nice airport. We're filming the backpacks for extra security. No possibility of theft or introduction of illicit items. The flight to Roissy happening in the peace and we witness the sunrise over the Alps covered with snow. By cons, cloud cover everything and we land in a puree of pitch. Complete fog. We return to the airlock security that are not regulated in the same way between those of NIce and Roissy. Then we wait, watching the relentless departing passengers. It's funny all these people intersect. Around 14h, we leave the terminal by bus to the Boeing 747-400 of Air France. This is the first time in 747 and the plane is huge, we're at the tail plane on only 2 seats side by side. It is more convenient than the 3 seats that the aircraft is mostly complete. Hello to a 380 pending and Concorde will not fly over it. We cross the clouds and fly straight to Canada, on an ocean of clouds. The meal served we hold and we doze until overflying the U.S. which we pass scores of south Florida. Beautiful sunset and we landed at night on the Havana airport. Immigration formalities are a little long, then we get our backpacks. Still a long wait to change our Euros in convertible pesos, the currency for tourists. We negotiate a taxi that takes us in the old Havana to our casa particular, bed and breakfasts, selected by the Internet, waiting for us. The streets at night without lights are a little sinister. But we manage to destination. The apartment where the family lives is quite large, the ceilings are very high and kitsch decoration. We fall asleep quickly because with the 6 hour time difference, it is 3 am and we're standing for nearly 24 hours non-stop. and say that travel broadens the mind.
