This Saturday, about 15 hours, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of the N2 and the D964 at Etroeungt, at the cemetery.
A Mercedes-Benz registered in the Marne (51), traveling in the direction Avesnes-La Capelle a Citroen Visa and led by a resident of Etroeungt collided.
Despite an extended resuscitation attempt, the driver, Josephine Quertainmont, 86, did not survive the accident.
The four occupants of the Mercedes, suffered minor injuries, have meanwhile been taken to hospital Fourmies.
