A man of 37 years has attempted to set themselves on fire Friday afternoon before the mayor of Nanterre after requesting an interview with the Housing Authority. Around 12pm, the father showed up in city hall, demanding to be given to change apartments. Armed with a can of esssence and a lighter, he threatened to immolate himself if he did not succeed. Alarmed, City staff immediately alerted the police who managed to reason with the desperate who had overthrown him on the can. The man was arrested and remanded in custody to view.
