A network of manufacturing and trafficking in counterfeit currency between Corsica and the continent, whose amount is estimated at 13,000 euros was dismantled this week by investigators from the judicial police in Bastia, said on Saturday a source close to the investigation.
According to preliminary investigation, two men aged in their twenties, from computers manufactured counterfeit notes 10 and 20 euros. A total of 13,000 euros in counterfeit notes have been produced since October, the source said.
